  1. Lumio is a big Fraud company. They have hundreds of complaints against them online. Its time they need to be stopped and should not be allowed to do business anymore.

    1. Hello,
I just wanted to reach out and ask if this is really happening? We purchased Lumio Solar and had nothing but trouble from day one and unfortunately we are stuck with them. Unless I mess my credit up. If this is proven for them to indeed a corrupt company what could it mean to the millions of people that have lied to?
we have had the panels for a year now and we were told that we will get a tax break in the amount of roughly $17,000, while we did get 3,000 this year, we were also told that if we didn’t put the entirety of the tax break the payment would jump 74.00 a month. we were unable to for obvious reasons… thank you for taking the time to read and hopefully respond…

  2. How can we find out about this lawsuit? I’m part of a Facebook group called “ Lumio solar do not use “ and we are all interested in what happens. Thanks

    1. Me too. Have had the panels on my roof for 6 months. They still have not done what they need to do to make my system operational. Paying for a non working solar system and my electric bill.

    2. Lumio has lied to us time and time again. Now we have $51,000 in solar panel debt that isn’t producing. In our power outage last month due to a hurricane, we were left in the dark along with our neighbors. We are still paying a light bill and solar bill which they said we wouldn’t have both, lies. They also told us the solar system and equipment was free only running our credit to see if we qualify. Another lie… how can we get from under this and get it taken off our home?

  3. I have exactly the same complaint against Lumio, I need help to get in this law suit against Lumio, I also know several other people being affected by Lumio bad faith

  4. Ive been having the same problems with this company it has been frustrating. I would love to see what i could do to get rid of them i have thought about going with an attorney and see how they can help me ive heard so much about how bad this company is. If anyone has a way to help me out i would really appreciate it! Ive been paying 569 of panels and 250 of electricity bill! It’s unbelievable! Half of my panels arent working and they dont come and fix them its been almost a year since ive been trying to get if hold of them, never received a call back or wont let me talk to a manager. I really need help! Even an employed texted me saying he can’t believe they havent fix them or anything.

  5. ¿Cómo puedo yo demandar, o unirme a esta demanda en contra de Lumio? 6. How can I sue, or join this lawsuit against Lumio? Since just a year and a half ago they sold me their panels, at a cost of $34,000, and only 10 of the 12 panels they installed are now working? I have called countless times in the last five weeks, and they still have not sent a technician to repair the problem. Meanwhile, the Energy Bill with Duke Energy was raised to $190, and this other Bill, according to Duke Energy, will be coming in above $200. I asked them at Lumio if they would recognize that difference of $190.59 from Duke, compared to the $44.59 which is what I usually pay, and they told me no. That’s why I want to sue Lumio.

  7. Can anyone provide the law firm name that is handling? I’ve seen this first hand by Lumio and they are liars and bullies also when brought to the attention of customer service and you mention poor performance based on what you were told and not at all what you told you would get they tell you to calm down and gas light you to get off the phone – Would very much like feedback here, they took advantage of, my 21 year old daughter and she is paying the $265 a month for the solar and still has $400 + a month in electric to her provider – the seller told that he could all but make her electric bill disappear. Not happening – 2800KW used on the grid 2200KW produced shown through her audit and still $400 a month electric bill . false advertising shake oil sales period taking advantage of people with lies… and they need to be made to make it right

  8. I am currently having issues with Lumio, My solar panels stopped working after a major storm now in October and I have called for repairs, now I need them to uninstall the panels for roof repairs and they mentioned they were low on personnel and I have to wait 6-9mths. I am currently paying the panels and the warranty is on them. They recommended to have someone else repair them, but it would affect the warranty of the product since all damages would fall on them. What do I do?

  9. I would also like information on joining the lawsuit or finding a lawyer to represent us. I am currently having issues with Lumio as well. Before installation, we were told that if any updates were needed, the “ball would be in our court” and at that time we could decide whether to proceed with installation or not. Apparently, all was good, so they installed the panels, then all of a sudden, a main panel upgrade was needed and they were only going to pay a portion of it. They blamed THEIR mistake on the electric company stating that they changed their rules and started requiring this upgrade around the time i had initially signed the contract. After speaking to more that one person with our electric company, it was learned that this had been a requirement since around 2008!!! Then the story changed. They stated that they didn’t realize we needed the MPU until AFTER the installation of the panels. and are now saying they will pay the full amount of the MPU. I have NOT approved any extra work nor have I signed a change order. They are now threatening to charge ME the full amount of the panels, or put a lean on my home as I have also cancelled my financing with GoodLeap since i did not proceed with signing the supposed “change order.” It has been lie after lie with this company and I’m just ready to be done with them!
